I have to gloat for a minute, isn’t he the cutest little guy?! Meet the newest member of our family Ruckus Mo Christensen. He wasn’t the easiest guy to bring into this world as my labor was crazy but clearly he was worth it. I had extremely low blood pressure and had to be given three shots of Epinephrine, nearly passed out, had to be stuck with the epidural needle FOUR times, threw up, and had a fever. All of this spanned from 9pm to 8:51am the next morning. But, once he was here, it was like none of that had ever happened. He was perfect. He weighed 9 pounds 9 ounces (talk about a chunker) and was 20.5 inches long.
We couldn’t wait for Milo to meet her baby brother. As you can see from the photo she was glowing. She was so happy he was finally here and kept saying “Ruckus is not in momma’s belly!”. She loves him to pieces, maybe even a little too much when you consider she has to have her forehead touching his any time she wants to talk to him. As if he already can’t see well enough he has a two-year olds giant eyeballs directly in his view. I couldn’t have asked for a better dynamic between the two. Any time he cries she sings him songs, if his binkie falls out she insists on being the one to put it back in..and keep it there.
I’m in mama heaven over here! Now if I could just figure out how to get some good sleep..
xoxo
