Maskcara? I’ve got you covered!

As you all know (if you’ve been following along) is that I’ve been the biggest Maskcara fan ever since the beginning.  I tried their makeup two years ago and instantly fell in love.  I even have a tutorial I made about how to apply the makeup in a previous post.  The best part is that Cara makes contouring SO EASY.  I never thought I would be able to contour but it’s a cinch!

Here is another tutorial just to give you a better idea of how I apply my makeup each day.  I love the way that it looks and how it isn’t a heavy makeup.  I love a good natural look!  If you have any questions, want to be color matched or if you want to see a certain tutorial- please let me know!  You can email me at paigeachristensen@gmail.com

Tutorial with Maskcara

I’ve used one makeup line for over 10 years and when it came to my face, I was never really happy with the foundation, bronzer and blush I had been using.  I always stuck with it because that was all I ever knew!  Last year I stumbled upon Maskcara and have never looked back.  Maskcara makes it EASY to apply makeup and not only that but its incredibly quick to put on too.  When you get your palette in the mail, you also receive a sheet that shows you exactly where to apply the makeup.  I love this makeup because it gives you that “I just spent four hours getting my face done by a glamour squad” look in literally 4 minutes without the parade of people to help!  I’ve never known a thing about contouring but Maskcara breaks it down for you and truly makes it simple.  You can find more tutorials on their Instagram and website.  I will say that one of my all time favorite things about this makeup is that you don’t have to carry around a whole tub of things with you when you’re going out of town or just out on date night.  You have your highlight, blush, illuminator and contour all in one small and convenient palette.

Here are the colors that I use: Light Palette

I also use:

MAC Brow Liner- Brunette

MAC Lipstick- Steady Going

An interview with a two year old

This anniversary I couldn’t think of annnnything to do for Ben. We decided a few years ago that during holidays we wouldn’t do anything big, gift wise. We decided birthdays are the times that we would go all out. That being said, it’s very tricky to get creative! Luckily I had the help of my favorite two-year old princess, Milo. As you can see the “interview” about dad didn’t go quite as planned. Who am I for thinking when I asked her questions she wouldn’t just name the first thing she was looking at? Literally, most questions went like this

Me: “Whats dad’s name?”

Milo: “Tree!”

Me: “What’s dads favorite color?”

Milo: ” Car! No, airplane!”

It took a lot of re-asking the same questions but I think it couldn’t have turned out any better. I had so much fun making this with her, she was cracking me up the entire time.

P.s. she taught me all of her best dance moves. Her “booty pop” as she calls it is definitely my favorite.

Cheer to six years, Ben!!
